Crisis intervention unit and transportation for behavior health crisis

The El Paso County Sheriff's office has a crisis intervention 1 unit called BHCON.  Carey Boelter is the program manager and is open to helping LTC when needed.

When we call 911, we should as for the Crisis Intervention Team and explain to the dispatcher that we are willing to wait on the team (if we can safely do so).  The team can also follow up visits from the police or sheriff's office. 

 Transportation services that you can possibly use when AMR will not take the patient.
